Did you know that madras plaid first came to America in the form of a donation to the Collegiate School of Connecticut from Elihu Yale, the governor of Madras, India at the time. The school was later renamed in in his honor (we'll give you one guess as to the new name). The Elihu's boxy design ensures she'll accommodate all your needs and her generous side tabs, large opening and long zipper pull make it easy to get to your stuff. Elihu's thoughtful details continue on the inside with her wipe-clean lining for those inevitable product leaks and her re-enforced seams, ensuring she'll retain her good looks.
